The Pacific Web Foundry was started by the husband and wife team of Wayne and Ani Stedman, who met at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. After many, many years of working in the corporate world they left and started their own web design firm. Begun originally to help a few companies get past some bad website related experiences, Ani and Wayne quickly saw the potential that the web offered and began to forge their business around providing high quality websites that performed well. Bottom line: Pacific Web Foundry clients got new or updated sites that built up their businesses.
Here is a bit about each of them:
After graduating from UC Davis with a BA in Psychology, Wayne spent many years in corporate IT (which includes several years working for advertising and marketing agencies). In the midst of his successful IT career, he took a break to go to art school, where he studied 3D animation and modeling. It was here that he gained his foundation in art and design as well as starting his mastery of the tools he uses for the web and graphics work he does. He is also the technical one and the one who drives the analytics. An insatiable brainstormer, he comes up with some interesting creative ideas.
Ani has a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design and uses her background to help Wayne with custom web layouts that are outside the box. She also puts her many years of Project Management skills to work at Pacific Web Foundry providing focus for Wayne’s many creative ideas and helping get projects executed on time and on budget. When asked Wayne will admit that she is better at picking colors and color theory.
